Why use Mukafi's calculators
Built to the standard a financial decision deserves — accurate, transparent, and honest about the law.
Cited to the exact law
Every result names the specific article it comes from — like UAE Federal Decree-Law 33/2021, Art. 51 — and links to the official source so you can verify it.
One formula per country
No single one-size rule. Each calculator uses the verified formula, wage base and caps for the country you select.
Private by design
Your salary, dates and contract details are calculated entirely in your browser. Nothing is stored, uploaded or shared.
The full working, shown
See a year-by-year breakdown and a downloadable PDF summary — not just a single number from a black box.
Bilingual & RTL, done right
A first-class English and right-to-left Arabic experience with the correct legal terms — not a bolt-on translation.
Kept current
Formulas are re-checked against official sources and dated, with clear notices where laws are mid-change, as in Oman and Bahrain.

Frequently asked questions
How Mukafi's GCC employment calculators work, what they cover, and how accurate they are.
What can I calculate on Mukafi?
Mukafi offers five free employment calculators for the Gulf: end-of-service gratuity, leave salary (unused annual-leave encashment), overtime pay, annual-leave accrual, and notice-period pay. Gratuity is available for all six GCC countries; leave salary, overtime, annual leave and notice period are currently available for the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, with more countries being added.
Which countries are covered?
The end-of-service gratuity calculator covers all six GCC states — the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain. The leave salary, overtime, annual leave and notice period calculators currently cover the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
Are the calculators free to use?
Yes. Every Mukafi calculator is completely free, with no sign-up, no limits and no paywall. We earn through optional HR and payroll software referrals, which never change your result.
How accurate are the results?
Each calculator applies the specific labour-law formula, wage base and caps for the country you choose, and cites the exact article it uses. Results are accurate estimates for guidance — always confirm the final figure with your employer, the labour ministry, or a qualified lawyer before acting.
Is my salary data safe?
Yes. All calculations run entirely in your browser. Your salary, dates and contract details are never sent to, or stored on, our servers.
What is the difference between gratuity and leave salary?
Gratuity (end-of-service benefit) is a lump sum based on how long you worked. Leave salary is the cash value of paid annual-leave days you earned but did not take. Both are usually paid together in your final settlement, and Mukafi has a dedicated calculator for each.
Can HR and payroll teams use these calculators?
Absolutely. HR, payroll and finance teams use Mukafi to sanity-check final settlements, accruals and overtime across several GCC countries against the current law in seconds — with a citation and PDF for the file.
