Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Mukafi collects, why, and what you can do about it. Mukafi is built to be used anonymously — you can calculate your gratuity without giving us anything at all.

In short
The calculator runs entirely in your browser and never sends your salary or dates to us. We only ever hold what you choose to type into the optional lead or contact forms.
What we don't collect
Your salary, employment dates, contract type, and reason for leaving are processed entirely in your browser when you use a calculator. None of it is sent to our servers, stored, or shared with anyone. Closing the tab clears it completely.
What we do collect
Only what you actively choose to give us: if you submit the optional lead form on a result page, we collect your name, work email, company size, and the country/page you submitted from. If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email, subject, and message. If analytics is enabled on the site, we may also collect basic, non-identifying usage data such as which pages are visited and general device or browser type.
How we use it
To respond to your message; to route a lead-form submission to the specific HR/payroll or legal partner relevant to your country and request, so they can contact you directly; to understand which calculators and countries are most useful so we can prioritise our work; and to meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
Lead-form submissions are shared only with the specific partner category you expressed interest in (HR/payroll software or labour-law consultancies), and only for the country you selected. Contact-form messages stay internal and are never shared with partners. We never sell your data.
Your rights
If you're in the EU/EEA, GDPR gives you the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to our processing of your data. If you're in the UAE, similar rights apply under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. If you're in Saudi Arabia, the Personal Data Protection Law (Royal Decree M/19, in force since 2023) gives you the right to be informed, to access your data, and to request its correction or destruction. How long we keep it
Lead and contact-form records are kept for up to two years from the date of submission, then deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time by contacting us.
Cookies & analytics
Mukafi doesn't require cookies to use any calculator. If and when we enable analytics, we favour cookieless or consent-gated tools, and we'll show a consent banner before anything non-essential runs.
Security
Data in transit is encrypted over HTTPS. Our database is not publicly accessible, and access is limited to those who operate the site.
Children's privacy
Mukafi is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 16.
Changes to this policy
We'll update the date at the top of this page whenever this policy changes. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
